What is the SmartGrid?
Rather than each building having its own grid connection, SmartGrid-connected buildings are linked together through a private, intelligent power network.
- Rooftop, carpark and ground-mounted solar can be funded, built and operated by SNRG
- Solar from connected buildings is combined into a shared rooftop solar farm
- A shared battery stores and releases energy when needed
- The SmartGrid draws from the national grid only when required
This allows far more renewable energy to be used onsite, lowering both costs and carbon.
